Height Requirements

DS is exactly 48" and is really excited to ride RnRC for the first time in December (he's spent 7 years waiting for Mom while she rides ). I would hate for him to be so excited and then get turned away, even though we've been measuring him for the last 6 months.

So, is Disney pretty bang-on with their height measuring "devices"?

If he's 48" now, he'll be taller in two months. I don't think you need to worry. Are you measuring him barefoot or with the shoes he'll be wearing? If barefoot, then he'll easily be tall enough already.

Thanks Monty; I've been measuring him in the shoes he'll most likely be wearing.

If I'm not mistaken, the measuring posts may be a little on the shorter side ... when he was 40", he actually had to duck his head a bit to go on BTMRR ... he was 4, I think.

My daughter was about a 1/4" short in her shoes on our last trip and they let her onto Coaster. I'm sure yours will be fine.

Not to worry, I think he'll be fine, if he's measuring 48" now. Have fun!
