Have you heard that “The Tower of Terror “ will turn into “ GOTG Mission BREAKOUT ! “ in DLP ?

In New Year‘s celebrations the TOT turned into GOTG Mission BREAKOUT ! during the illuminations. Furthermore, there is also a GOTG stage next to Avenger Campus. There are some rumors that actually The Tower of Terror “ will turn into “ GOTG Mission BREAKOUT ! “ ? Tell me your thoughts about this.

Well, that was succinct! :)

I actually think this would make some sense from where it is positioned in the park and I always found it to be the weakest themed of the ToT's, particularly the queue.
In 2018 (pre-retheme), I enjoyed it more than the California version (which was from a 2016 visit). Still can't top the Orlando version, though. I haven't experienced Tokyo's yet.

And I loved Martin's response to the original question. :D

I completly agree with you ! The ToT is really near to the Avenger Campus, so, that’s an aspect that we should have in consideration.

It's not happening. These are just reused projection visuals from a (Annual Pass Party?) they had in the park years ago.

Genuinely, the Paris ride experience is my favorite of all the Towers now. It’s so well executed it feels like peak classic Imagineering. Probably my favorite ride at DLP now, with Phantom and Big Thunder coming in as close seconds.

I personally think Tokyo’s is by far the worst as a ride experience outside of the stunning facade—and god that beautiful lighting package!

If Orlando would be similarly modernized it would easily be my favorite again, though, but that’s not the present😭.

Still, I do appreciate the variation between all of the Towers now. I think that makes things so much more interesting.

Have you tried Tokyo's during the seasonal overlay? I found it made a significant difference in enjoyment with the added effects and more than double the drops. Of course, the preshow is amazing as always even with the lackluster drop profile they run normally.

Disney made a huge mistake to mix out the TOT theme for DCA in favor of Mission Breakout. :(

I thought that before I rode it... but I actually quite enjoy Mission Breakout in DCA. And I think DCA's ToT was far weaker than WDW's, so I like unique attractions on each coast.
