We just ordered Outback takeaway for dinner. I'm trying to get up the energy to finish the laundry and pack the rest of my bag for the hospital. Em organized the baby's closet and picked out 4 outfits for me to take to the hospital for Jack. WHich I think is sweet, because she's kind of not thrilled about her brother.

Still here huh?

Em will feel differently once she meets the boy. DD wanted a sister so bad, but she just fell in love with DS once he was born. That lasted a few weeks anyway.

I look at the congressmen and don't recognize any of the names...and then I realize that I'm now in a different district.

Jo you would have passed out today...had to go to the hospital for my pre-admission bloodwork and the nurse anesthetist was describing the C-section procedure to me. The only good thin was that I was so distracted that I didn't even feel the other nurse drawing blood.

I used to take them right into the booth with me, then this old bitty told me I couldn't, so I had to leave DS outside of the booth or not vote at all. He was about 2 at the time, and would have run to New Jersey by the time I finished voting!

They had a sign up that said that kids 12 and under could go with you.

I remember going with my Mom when I was little... I'm sorely dissapointed that they don't have the clicky kind of voting booths anymore. I would practice on the kiddy version they had for us to play with. When I finally got to vote myself we had computers. All those years of practice for nothing! :rolleyes:

Oh Lord, and on top of everything doesn't Stewart have to go into the vet tomorrow to get sedated because the new doc over there didn't feel comfortable examining him when I took him in this afternoon? He's got a bum paw and he got very ornery when she tried to look at it...so she blithely scheduled for me to drop him off tomorrow. Have to do it, gotta look after my furbabies to. The other vet would've sat on that cat and fixed him up but oh well.

I do have t run, get the table set for dinner. If I'm not back tonight I will pop in tomorrow before the hospital. And yes, the laptop will be going with me!

Yes and yes...with Em it wasn't planned, it was after 12 hours of labor. Not going there again!

Now I really am outta here!
