Well la de da, aren't we fancy!

I hope Bun is okay too...I know she's got a lot on her plate.

Isn't it screwy how your mood can go from neutral to supremely ed in like two seconds and over nothing? I just yelled at Em as we were walking out the door to her bus because she decided at the last minute that she wants to bring her costume with her instead of me bringing it over later as planned. It's three freakin' yards of satin, now stuffed in a plastic grocery bag. Should look GREAT by the time of their parade this afternoon. Plus, I was planning on practicing with it so I'm not a complete mo when I have to put it on her at school. I asked her why it was so important that she bring it now and she said "Because everybody else will have theirs.", at which point I freaked and told her that was the worst excuse for doing something that I had ever heard. I suck at being a mom.

On a lighter note, we had the following conversation at bedtime last night:

"Sydney was late for school today because she had to get a haircut because her little sister has some kind of bugs and her mom wanted to make sure Sydney doesn't have them too."
