I just stopped and got a McDonalds Ice Coffee, I am starting to feel bad again, and I really didn't want anything to eat.

They really did release new stuff though, didn't they? I could be wrong... :shrug:


So... we've unfortunately tossed our original "Trunk-or-Treat" costume and trunk decorating idea. We just don't have enough time to pull a whole pirate ship off... So DH and I decided to do Wall-E. :D

LOVE IT!!! That's a great idea. The church across the street from work is having Trunk or Treat too.

Dh is going to be Wall-e. We have a carboard box I'll decorate and I think I'll buy some gloves and make big "hands" like his. What can I do about the eyes though...?

Instead of children going door-to-door in the neighborhood, which isn't always safe, we have about 30-40 families or so who come to church and decorate the trunks of their car in the parking lot and hand out candy. Kids go from trunk to trunk getting candy. We also have a chili cookoff, pony rides, a "cash machine" and contests. It's a really good, safe event for the community. There's off-duty police officers who volunteer to do security too. We have about 850-950 people last year.

We did our Harvest Fest last night. I don't know how it went, we didn't go.:eek: I was tired and allergies were getting to me.

CUTE! Gosh the Wall-E eyes...you could always try and make some glasses that are the same shape as his eyes? :veryconfu Maybe using pipe cleaners that you get at a craft store?

That's so great, several of the churches here do that. Much more fun than Trick or Treat I think. The mall here also does where you can dress up and trick or treat at each store. I always thought that was cool, plus it's inside.

I just had to campus and back to rescue my Shakespeare textbook (I left it in the classroom at 11:30 today :rolleyes:

And on the topic of Halloween costumes, one of my friends is being Rufio (from Hook) and I'm trying to decide if I should be Peter Pan or Captain Hook.
