I hear you on the up at night thing - Anya's been up a lot lately, I think she caught my cold :(

You should ask if they can get it for you from another library. I was going to ask them if I could use my card at a near by library and they just suggested doing interlibrary loan. They said it will probably be next week sometime and they will call me when it comes in. Saves me from having to go back and look for it.



I spent most of the afternoon looking through the baby bargins book. There is so much info in it! Next time I go back I'm also going to check out the consumer report book and see if the recommendations are the same.

I had my library put all the Twilight books on hold for me - I woudn't have read them otherwise - they don't stay on the shelves for long!

The consumer report book is good too, but I really oreferred the writing style of BB... plus there's that whole snafu about the carseat tests that CR did ..

Thanks, Betty! The museum really made such a beautiful back drop to the day. It was something that we were able to afford to do since we were having it there as opposed to here. :rolleyes:

So if I am a harry potter fan will I like the Twilight books?

That's true about CR. I think we are basically going to look at 2 or 3 different infant car seats and they all got an A in BB....so I guess I just want to see all the other stuff.

They're different than the HP books... not really the same genre even. Way more lovey-dovey than HP, so if you're not up with "I don't know how I'd ever live without him!" than don't bother. That being said, they did keep my interest over the volumes. I liked 2,3, and 4 much better than 1.

Maybe I'll just stick to my girlie books for now :D

That is one of the ones I like and I like the Chicco Key Fit.
