Have you ever made a lasting friendship at WDW?

I think that's so awesome,my first trip to Florida I stayed at my aunts condo n met someone I kept in contact with for many years until something happened I moved in with my Dad leaving pretty much everything behind.
I haven't met randoms in Disney like that though,but I've met "my magic ladies" from this site and definitely keep in contact with them whenever I can.Can't wait to see them all in May

Ironically enough, the main times that we make friends is when we're "protecting" our parade spot. The last time we met a nice couple from NY(I think). They just stood behind us and we asked if they wanted their son to get in front of us with our kids and we hit it off from there. Very friendly folks.
