I have done it twice, my favorite two stops are La Cava de Tequila and the Saki Bar in Japan. Have you done it, if so, any crazy stories?

yeah... this March we're actually making shirts for our group. We haven't finalized a design yet, but I'm expecting them to be epic.

It is EXPENSIVE though...

Oh yea, sadly enough my wife and I budget and save every year for the food and wine fest. It's the extreme version of drinking around the world. In three years we've only made it completely around the world once, we cheated though and shared every drink.

But like ddbowdoin said, its very very EXPENSIVE!!

I have done the Food and Wine eat and drink around the world stooping at each and every booth for something to eat and drink. It was hard and took a few hours but I made it. Started early from Boardwalk Villas turned right past the international gateway and did make it back to my room that evening.

Did this for my 21st birthday. Yes it is expensive, but if you pace yourself and eat along the way its not terrible. I started in Mexico at 11 am and ended in Canada around 5 before making our way to Coral Reef for dinner. Then we went to DTD to Paridiso 37 and ended the night drinking at the pool bar at Pop. It was a very long 15 hours of drinking, but it was a great way to celebrate my 21st birthday in my favorite place.

Done it and LOVED IT! I found it easier to start at Canada and end in Mexico if you are going the hard alcohol mixed drink route, the liquor tastes more like juice to begin with and makes the whole thing go easier. Scope out quick serves along the way. I had a funnel cake and some egg rolls and they helped soak up the booze so I didn't look like a college kid at their first party.
The best thing I've ever seen was a group of college guys who did the all beer route and got so drunk they were basically napping in the bushes between the UK and Canada, I am guessing they were escorted out quickly after I saw them.

We wound up splitting it up between 2 days. First Epcot visit we spent too much time in Mexico between La Cava and dinner that we only had time to hit Norway, UK, France, and UK for last call. Second day we wound up stuck in the Rose & Crown and Germany for more than one pint. So in the end we never actually got around to trying anything in China. We skipped the US too just because the selection was too generic.

I did it last summer and with my buddy. It was about 90 dollars and took about 5 hours.
Started in Germany: Flight of beers (mistake), Mexico: Tequilla shot, Canada: Beer, England: Strongbow Cider, France: Red Wine, Morocco: Sangria, Japan:, Saki at the Saki bar (this is where it starts to get really fuzzy), America: Some American beer, Italy: White Wine I think, China: Tsingtao, and finally finished it off with a shot of Aquavit in Norway.
I will not be doing it again. I think sharing it with someone is the best way to do it if, you so desire.

Also I didnt realize until doing it, how many drunk people are at EPCOT at night.

My roommates and I attempted it when I was in The Disney College Program. It was also pouring down raining. That was a night to remember. It was fun. Favorite drinks were Carlsberg from Norway, Moosehead from Canada, and Oktoberfest from Germany. Least favorite was the mango ginerita from Japan.

I like to try drinking around the world during the F&W festival, but it's way too expensive for me to stop at even the majority of booths. I've started planning ahead which drinks I would like to try and purchasing just those.

ive done it three times - twice on the same vacation, the first time was unsuccessful cause we didnt give ourselves enough time and collapsed after like trying to do 4 countries in like an hour lol

the second time we did it though, we spend the entire day, taking our time. i have never been so weirdly drunk in my life! it was drunk, but not drunk? haha i dont know how to explain it, you just felt like very very weird haha. we started at mexico, and when we finally got to canada - everything was CLOSED! i was so mad cause the park was open for EMH! and they said, yes but that doesnt mean all the places stay open, WHWHWHHWHWAT!

i was so drunk i started to cry LOL i cried the entire way home (i was really, really drunk...) and when we got back to Wilderness Lodge my husband was like, wait, i BET they have a canadian beer here, that has to count right?! and then i told my sob story to the bartender at Artists Point (i think? its cloudy haha...) and she was the NICEST funniest woman ever, she was like "dont worry! this totally counts!!!" and she signed my passport for me LOL...

oh dear. :p

the third time my sister and i tried to do it with every booth and country during the Food & Wine festival.............we later rode Three Caballeros, and well, There are some PRETTY hysterical photos from that ride. haha. o_O (and before anyone says anything, there was NO ONE else on the ride, we didnt ruin it for anyone by taking photos, do not worry :)
