Have a "Disney" room in your home?

I'm in the process of turning our small basement/movie watching room into a Disney/parks themed room. So far my wife and I have painted the walls a light semi lavender/blue color with 3 attraction posters as the focal point of one wall (WDW Railroad, Big thunder Mount, and DL spacemountain). We also have the throw/rug from last year in the middle floor. Looks nice so far. Anybody else do something like this? Pictures?

Sounds cool!
I don't have a Disney room in my home, but there are Disney touches throughout.
I recently redecorated my daughter's room & it has a polka dot border all the way around the wall - I included a few hidden Mickey's in the polka dot pattern.
I also have Disney framed art, a platter, a plate, frames, etc. in different areas.

Eventually we're getting a Disney room when we get our first house. I have figurine sets (about 20-25), monorail sets and some posters. It's going to be a room where no one touches a thing. lol.

I am in the same boat- not an entire room, but I do have a number of Disney prints and posters spread throughout parts of my house. And on my Christmas tree as well....:)

My daughter's house has a Nemo and Friends bathroom for my granddaughter who is 6. Nemo, Crush, Seagulls, Dory and all the rest plus undersea sponges, corals and bubbles are on decals covering the walls. She has orange and blue towels, a multi fish toothbrush holder, soap dish, light switch plates and tissue box holder. And of course a Nemo and Friends large bathtowel on the towel rack.

Then her bedroom used to be princess decor but last year got changed to Tinkerbell and Friends. She has canopy bed with large (artificial) flowers on the canopy, curtains and wall decals of Tink, Irridessa, Rosetta, Fawn and Silver Mist, Tinkerbell clock/radio, Tink nightstand light, bedspread, sheets and pillows with Tink, a pink Disney TV, DVD player and jewelry box, a behind the door mirror decorated with Tink items - flowers, sewing things, trinkets and ribbons.

Currently only the garage lacks Disney theming.
Ditto, with the exception of my antenna topper Tigger, which I change out every now and then to my new favorite....a Mickey Ice Cream bar with a bite out of it.
My Christmas tree is down right MK and angels. I have a Mickey and Minnie sitting in front of a TV and when you push a button on the side the TV displays the fireworks, complete with sounds (Hallmark ~2006) and a Mickey carrying a big drum that plays the Mickey Mouse Club song (Hallmark~2006) LOVE THEM! Various Pooh and Piglet, Tigger ornaments are scattered umougnst my Mary's Angels collection (also Hallmark).

I am totally planning on redoing my kitchen in a mickey mouse theme as soon as they come out with a dinnerware set that I like. They only have the Christmas set right now, so I'm thinking something must be coming out soon. My mom got me the silverware for Christmas!

My room is littered with Disneyana, and it's also hanging on the walls. I also have display cases specifically for Disneyana (and my vinyl, but there is some Disney vinyl scattered in there as well).

My wife and I just moved into our first house, and I now finally have a Disney room!! I am in the process of setting it up. It will be filled with a large portion of my Disney collection, which includes numerous figurines, a few attraction posters, some snow globes and other Disney art and collectibles. There is also some other Disney stuff around the house. Once I finish getting the room setup (hopefully this weekend), I will take some pictures to share with you all.

My spare bedroom is done in a Mickey theme. I have a Mickey Mouse border, bedding, throw pillows & rug, and a pair of the big yellow Mickey slippers under the bed. I just bought some neat fabric on E-bay, and will be making valances after Christmas. I've also bought several of the collage style picture frames from WDW and am in the process of sorting through past trip photos to hang up.

The Epcot Manifesto
My current daughter's room contains a LOT of Disney wall art
  • Tiki Room attraction poster,
  • cluster of 6 Disneyland 50th framed art pieces
  • 3 Muppet sketches done at WDW (Kermit, Fozzie, Piggy)
  • a shadowbox with framed Disney stock certificate and artifacts from a CRT lunch we had while my wife was pregnant with her.
My 2nd daughter's room (due in 5-6 weeks) is Mary Blair themed, with strong Disney focus.
  • Printed off some Small World concept art (plus a pic of the train scene in 3 Caballeros)
  • Small World blanket over the rocker.
  • a large Small World concept art poster in the mail now from Disney-Art-On-Demand, soon to be framed and hung
  • Framed pieces from Mary Blair's art in "Baby's House" Little Golden Books
  • And, soon to be a matching shadowbox with CRT artifacts from our recent lunch there with my DD and my wife, pregnant with 2nd DD.
Other than that, we've recently started hanging all the Mouse Ears from our trips on the living room walls, which is fun. I still have to hang the ones from the trip we just returned from!

Here's my take on a Disney Room!

My take on this thread is a bedroom that spews MICKEY! I have various pictures of Walt, Pooh, Clocks, Stamps, Disney Dollars, Eyes & Ears Newspapers(headboard), Statues, and a MICKEY Telephone! My BED is even done in classic MICKEY colors of Red, White and Black. I also have various collectibles in the living room as well as a homemade Disney throw for covering up on those wintry Pennsylvania nights. Various DVD's complement the rest of the collection!

In my kitchen I have a picture I painted of Chef Mickey holding a wisk and a knife and I have Disney dishes, a matching Disney clock and other matching accessories around the room. In my guest bathroom, I have another contempory Mickey painting I made. I have a Mikey trashcan, toothbrush holder, container and a plush Paris mickey. I have black towels hanging with red towels over that I put a Mickey and Minnie pen in. I also have Disney trip pictures and a few pins displayed. My husband and I would like to start a family within this next year and I have already thought of the Disney theme that my potential son or daughter will have. Cinderella if it is a girl and classic Mickey if a boy! Oh, my office at work is also Disney!!!
