Was ar mk today and road haunted mansion, seemed like there had been some upgrades in lighting and animatronics. Also at the ghost party the ghost on the end actually gets up on table and blows out candles on cake, also don trembler the other ghost sitting at the table last time in early november

Speaking of upgrades for HM, I was wondering there was any planned refurb? There was talk that WDW would be getting the Hatbox Ghost installed in the future, but they don't seem to be in any rush to do so...

You can always notice something new! Keep riding! Pick a favorite and look for it the next time!

I went on 2 weeks ago with my daughter. I noted that it was her birthday in the MM+. I am not sure if this is a coincidence or not, but at the end the ghost had a birthday cake and smashed it in my face. I am assuming that it did that because it was her birthday. If so, nice personal touch!

Had a ride stoppage for about 2min at the banquet hall scene last time we went. Was awesome to just sit there and soak in all the details.

Yes we need the 'new' Hatbox Ghost scene at WDW! The one at DL is amazing, if I do say so myself

I'll be at MK this afternoon will check out the ghost blowing out the candles I never noticed that either.

I want them to add a video clip of the personalized hitchhikers you now get at the end, to your photopass. Something to the tune of seven dwarfs mine train and ToT, an animated clip with your personalized insert. Nice keepsake.

I agree, would have been great to show everyone

The candles have always been that way as others have said. The newest change is the integration with the hitchhiking ghosts and the MagicBands to display your names on tombstones, etc.

1 of my favorite rides at WDW. Sometimes i wish it was the walk thru they wanted so i can stand there and just soak everything in , look at all the details . But i guess everyone else would do the same .

HM is my favorite attraction at MK and I never ever noticed until today the gal blowing out the candles! This is why I love these forums, new friends sharing new things. Thanks! And FYI my interactive ending was different today than on Monday :)

I dont care how many times I ride a ride, I am always finding something I've missed that now caught my eye and I think how in the heck did I miss that one??? Theres so much to look at and the ride cars are going just fast enough that you can only concentrate on a small bit of whats there. Thats whats so great about return rides or return trips, theres always something new to discover. Thanks to all the creative minds that have added so many details to every attraction.

Seeing as how they're all continually appearing and disappearing, I don't think it's even possible to see all the ballroom ghosts on any single ride through.

They just don't build rides like that anymore- where a ton of details, and not one overarching "story" are the focus of the attraction.

It was a coincidence. I rode last week and the cake was smashed into my hubby's face and we were not celebrating anything. But it is one of a couple of "new" ghost endings we noticed after riding a few times.
