For weeks ever since the mansion was opened again, it has been running on it's B show for the attic scene. I have been riding the past few weeks wondering when they were going to get the portrait effects to work. Well last night i was pleasantly surprised to see the effect finally working in the attic. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about. The portraits in the attic are not suppose to always just be headless grooms. Instead the heads are suppose to be there and when the hatchet appears in the brides hands the heads disappear just as it is in Disneyland. it is finaly working ( or at least it was last night).


also when i left animal kingdom today i saw a weird character out in the Oasis area. Gov. Ratcliffe and he was all by himself . this was around 3ish.

thanks for the information. We are going to MNSSHP Thursday and I will report back if I see the effect. On 9/22 I did not see the effect. I thought the attic was a little, teensy bit lame. Now I see they had more in mind. :sohappy:

I wish the effect had been working when I was there last week. I thought the new additions were still really cool, though.

I am going to MNSSHP on Thursday too!! I sure do hope the effect is working!!

Just got back and I saw the portraits working!
When I first rode it since the reopening with my daughter she stated that when she road it a couple of days earlier that bride had a rose and not an axe. I saw the axe as well along with portraits of the bride and headless husbands. A couple of days later I rode again and saw the portraits with heads on the men that slowly dissapeared and also I saw the bride with the axe. I loved all the effects of the ride! Great rehab!

I was there this past week and was glad to see it working. Lots of people there last week. Other than some rainy days I had an awesome time can't wait to go back :D

I also got to ride Big Thunder Mountian before it closed got there just in time too.

I've resisted my incredible temptation to find and view video of the rehabbed HM. Now I'm glad I haven't. :) The best part? I can go see it in about 5 days!!! :sohappy:

Noticed that this week. Must have been fixed between Tuesday and Saturday.
In other news....Yeti was in B mode Saturday. Bummer.

Did you see any sign of the mist effect at the top of Everest? It's been mentioned it may have reappeared? Thanks!

Hi there Steve, On all the times I rode E:E last week, I had the mist effect working. It was interesting to see the Yeti in "B" mode on Friday before I left!!!! Belle
