I have just heard for the second time on internet radio, "The Story and Song from the Haunted Mansion" (24:26) from The Haunted Mansion Unauthorized 36th Anniversary-Disc One. Has anyone else heard this? Also, if you have heard this, one of the ghost voices that "shows" the two around the house, sounds like the Butler from the movie...help anyone? :shrug:

Hello Jon, no, not yet, I just listen to different radio stations off of "Live 365", and I can buy music off these stations to put it on my ITunes...I was just curious if anyone else had heard this very funny tune..:ROFLOL:

Yeah. I have that recording.
It's not the butler from the movie (Terrence Stamp).
I need to go back and listen to it to see how it sounds....

I have the cassette of something called a spooky night in Disney's haunted Mansion. I'm not sure if it is what you were talking about.

Yes - this is from the original Disneyland LP album/booklet 'The Haunted Mansion' from the very late 60's. I still own this album which I recently found is very rare and is selling for $150+ on Ebay. I think I'll keep it for nostalgia sake. Ron Howard is listed directly on the album label.

The Ghost Host for the "The Story and Song of the Haunted Mansion" was voiced by Disney voice artist Pete Renoudet as for some reason Paul Frees (the GH in the actual attraction) was either unavailable or perhaps too costly to hire. The echo effect plus the timbre of voice he uses make it almost unrecognizable that he's also the voice actor behind Henry in Country Bear Jamboree as well.
