For your information HERE IS THE SITE!

Now that I read it again, I realize that he didnt see the movie so an apology is in order in my part.

But the remark you made will not go unnoticed.
:fork:
Because you apologized I will too. It was nice of you to admit that I was right but it was wrong of me to say my comment.

Theres nothing new.

Provided I dont have to deal with Disney's Rent-A-Cops or that supervisor doesnt try to screw around with me again, I should be able to get over there today, or tomorrow. If not, Saturday and Sunday for sure.

No offense but I am a film major that tracks the releases of nearly every film. I know for a fact that there has been no published review (early or not) of this film. Even underground sites that track early screenings like AintItCoolNews have confirmed this. If there was an early screening, then no one who saw it decided to tell anyone else so I question why they would type it up and give it to you.

Umm...AintItCoolNews has already posted some very negative reviews of this movie from a test screening last month. :lookaroun

The movie sets will open after the press event next week. No set date yet--just "after the press event." You would think that they would give us a date or something to give guests that ask about it. Nope--just "after the press event." Funny! My role requires me to answer questions just like this, but we're not always given the answers.

Sorry--bad day here. Don't mean to sound sour.

Care to provide a link to these negative reviews? I check that site every single day and I just searched the site and there was zero hits. What are with these imaginary negative reviews people speak of?

You can experience Disney's "The Haunted Mansion" Playstation 2 game over at EPCOT's Innoventions, The Game will be released Oct 14th.

As for the Movie Sets, some of the Tombstone's are located in the AFI section - Villans - on the backstage tour .

Well, neither of those links look very reputable or trustworthy:

Link #1:

"Mapping the fine line between entertainment and crap"

What self respecting website that wants to be taken seriously would use a site motto like this?

Link #2

Get the censors ready. These reviews have more swearing in them than anything I've ever seen. And I've worked construction.

Let me clue you in. If they feel the need to say something "kicks ______", they don't have the vocabulary to let us know any other way. They are simply limited by their own stupidity.

Now, I'm not saying that advance screenings havent' taken place. It's possible. I'm not the director, or a movie student, so don't jump at me for that. However, I have taken several high level writing courses in college, and neither of those sites has it. Peiod.

I'll check out the movie myself. Mainly because I don't trust someone with a 9th grade education to tell me what movies are worth my time.

Fievel, I completely agree with you, but AndyMagic specified that web site. I only provided him the link he requested to the "imaginary" screening and reviews. It is a very bad web site with tons of foul language but that doesn't mean that what the X2("Indy") poster said was not true about screenings and bad word of mouth.

Like i said in my last post....I never said screenings haven't taken place....I was merely letting you know my opinion on those websites.

To me - I don't trust them....of course I have a bad time trusting anybody that can't talk intelligently.

If the reporters and critics are that bad and unreputable, what are we supposed to think of those websites as a whole?

That's all I was saying....

Again, I agree with you. We're on the same page.

I don't really owe anyone an apology. I asked you to provide me with a link and you did. As for X2, he talked about screenings that happened months ago and got confused with a site that he thought posted a review. I knew for a fact that there were no such screenings that occured that long ago. The one on Aintitcoolnews occured last week, about 6 days before I spoke of no test screenings.

As you all have or will learn, this is a little something called ethos in writing and speeches. Basically, it means is what someone saying credible based mainly on they way the message is conveyed? Does the writer/speaker make him/herself seem credible? Using foul language to a point that it makes it difficult to even produce full, meaningful sentences is just plain bad ethos. Maybe the film is bad, but I surely wouldn't come to a general opinion that this movie is awful from these reviews.

You know whats kinda funny about the backstory for the movie hat I read about in one of those reviews? It sounds almost exactly like the backstories that CMs and Imagineers have made up over the years! You know, about the guy hanging himself because his bride killed herself. That sounds very similar to the unofficial stories Disney employees have created for the Haunted mansion.

Maybe I misunderstood that post but...

How does Gracy hanging himself because his bride killed herself have to do with A real Estate broker and his family being stranded in the house (After the bridges in the area were "mysteriously wiped out") and them breaking a spell on the mansion?

Whats the connection?
