I peeked inside one day when they had the doors open, they were brining parts inside from backstage. From what I saw, they'll have the graveyard, costumes and a fasade of the mansions front.

Sounds neat, but I have to question the Facade, it could be different then the one I saw from a picture of when they were filming, but the facade I saw, and the one they were using at the time, was well over 4 stories high, and was built in the desert somewhere

Its a scaled down version of it so they could fit it inside.

Same exact thing, just the one they have at the Studios is like as small as Gary Colman compaired to its counterpart from the movie.

Down Grizz, down.

This is coming from me (And no, Im not sick) but even I think M:S is slowly starting to get old. ISTC seriously needs to hurry up and finish getting the Mission: SPACE Race Online going before their original timeframe.

If they do that, it'll give a shot of life into the attraction that should last them a year or so.

I forgot who said it (Believe it was photodave) but anyways, I'll agree that PhilharMagic is the better of the two right now.
1. No health restrictions
2. No height requirments.
3. Family based.

On a personal level:
1. It's got two of my girls in it.
2. It's all centered around my second main man/character, Donald (My first being Eyore. Cant touch the Eyore)

LOL...X2CommNavIstc, He was just playing, look at my avatar...

And, to tell the truth, I would take another showing of Philharmagic over MS right now. And Grizz, I also have a MS relatated item for "7 things not to do at WDW avatar week"..you'll have to wait and see:D

Small Drift here...

Anyone see the new preview for the Haunted Mansion movie (you can see it on the movies web site)? It looks like it has a totally different story to go along with than the ride. My biggest problem is that Gracey is a mortal (or is a ghost that goes in to a mortal state). Something about that movie just doesn't seem to make me think it will be good for the mansion (and the movie). Too many differences.

Ive heard a lot of negative reviews on it.

But basically, Eddie's family has to fix up the house (Hes a real estate agent) and they go in to fix it up. But they learn about a curse and have until "The stroke of 13" to break it.

Gracy is in the movie, and yes, as the mortal. Why? Because he is wanting to help break the curse, why he took on a mortal form to do it, dont ask me.

But this movie will be chock full of things from the ride. The graveyard, leota in the ball, the dance, gravyard scene.

I doubt it will be this bad but I just hope this isnt another Country Bearish movie....that being that it sucked.

Least theres one movie we know wont suck......Pirates of the Caribbean 2

We can only hope for POC2, but, The HM movie...looks like it will confuse the majority crowd. They wont know if its scary or funny, and, for some people, infact, many who I have spoke to, seem to forget there is a HM ride when they here about the movie, and when the movie doesnt have the ride to back it up, its confusing, and it seems like a kiddy movie. From what I read of the earlier script, it sounded awesome, aimed for a PG13 Rating, but, It has been changed, and I can only hope for the best for my 2nd Fav MK attraction

Is there an answer to the question about when the Haunted Mansion Sets will be open? I'll be at MGM on Saturday October 4th and am hoping that they will be up for viewing on that day. Thanks in advance.

"The Haunted Mansion" has not even had it's test screening yet and still has months of post production to go. Any "negative" reviews you heard were just either lieing about seeing it, or an executive of Walt Disney Pictures which I highly doubt.

Um, it has a month and a few weeks to go. Its released November 26th...

And they have had test screenings of it thank you very much.

The previews have been the work in progress films. And the reviews Ive read are going off of what the reviewers have seen.

No offense but I am a film major that tracks the releases of nearly every film. I know for a fact that there has been no published review (early or not) of this film. Even underground sites that track early screenings like AintItCoolNews have confirmed this. If there was an early screening, then no one who saw it decided to tell anyone else so I question why they would type it up and give it to you.

I dont care if your the director of the movie.

The site that I read the review on has never reported something false. If its a rumor, true it could be false but, if it ends up being false then he reports it. I have yet to see one misleading or untruthful thing from this man.

This is the last I will speak of this. Im not getting into it. You can keep on if you want but I won't waste my time.

lol... I love how you could have provided me with a link to end this whole thing but you chose not to. Perhaps that's because this site doesn't exist and nor does this review you speak of. I'm done with this topic too but now I know you can never trust a person who wears a leather jacket in 80 degree weather. :lookaroun
