Huge, HUGE, HUGE!!!! mistake. At the beginning of the ride the narrator says there are 999 ghost with room for one more. HOWEVER! When you exit he says one will follow you home. Well I have ridden it at least 10 times (probably a lot more but using 10 makes the math easy). 999 - 10 = 989 so there at the most only 989 ghost.

Just sayin

They don't stay at your house... they have to go back to work.

You must not have listened to the entire thing.
They will follow you home until you return. Fail on you. You returned and they were back in the mansion.

Yes but still for the two years I had not been there they were with me. So when I am at home it should be at least 998 for everyone else after me.

Yes. But he also says...."There's always room for one more.....any volunteers?"

So simple math would dictate that if there were 1 volunteer for every ghost that followed you home = 999 happy haunts in perpetuity.
HMMMM that is a theory only. AND the if this was the case the 999 number must fluctuate. The narration should be changed to "about 999"

There's nothing that says the 999 happy haunts are the same 999 that resided when the attraction opened. There are thousands of people around the world passing away every day-I'm sure for every ghost that follows someone home, another one is waiting to move in.

They have a queue, so everytime one leaves.. another gets to come in. We complain about the lines for getting in, some of those guys have been waiting for years.
