Hate to bump an old thread, but I just wanted to give an update to Marni1971's post, for anyone Interested.
These candles are available on the market, From one of the TV Shopping Networks that starts with a "Q". Just look for the name "Luminara", They come in 5" and 7" pillar styles, and just recently in a Thin, Taper Style. Price varies between $35-$38
