To avoid all this...

Book the next vacation before you go on the CURRENT vacation :). Sandy doesn't cry anymore on the Journey of Shame... I just remind her that we're already booked for the next trip :).

I try my very best to make this happen but it does not always work....but I sure do have fun trying!!!!

Does anyone else feel terrible when you wake up in the morning at your resort, mosey out to get some mickey waffles and fuel up for the coming day of fun, and see a family with all of their luggage, arms full of Disney keepsakes. That look on their face that tells you they're going back to the grey, bleak real world. It almost makes me want to go up and give them a hug. And I'm pretty antisocial. Not only that, but it reminds you of the impending doom of your departure. And it makes me want to cry..

Then I eat my Mickey waffles :sohappy:

Yes! LOL.. and that is why I try to take the trip as slow as possible but time flies when you're having fun no matter how hard you try in wdw. I love arriving on the DME bus and seeing the people leaving to go home, knowing my vacation is just beginning, but I also know their pain too well and feel bad lol.

I nicknamed the sad faces of people pulling their suitcases and souvenirs into the lobby the 'trail of tears'. Last year when I posted on Facebook I was now on the trail of tears my friends started to call me to check to make sure I wasn't suicidal....

This year I created a Facebook checkin (checkout) that says Disney's Trail of Tears and sadly said I was there with my friends as we left property.

I start a mental countdown when I get there. I hate for the days to pass so quick when they go so darn slow getting to take the trip!

I'd go a week every month if I could.
