Looks like a frenzy of people really missed the attraction. FWIW, in the most recent Unofficial Guide Jim Hill mentions the possibility of a replacement that's less problematic but would also fit the Dino-Rama theme. I think a funhouse type ride would be a welcome replacement.

Undercover Tourist app now shows 15 minutes.
A lot of the wait time apps tend to make things up.

Odd, because the WDW mobile site (and thus the WDW Mobile Magic app) list the current wait time as "See Now" (i.e. little-to-no wait).

I've been wrong before, I'll be wrong again, but I didn't think I was wrong about this.
I didn't expect it to reopen, and I still don't expect it to reopen at least anytime soon.
I believe there is no projection date (as I have previously stated) and the official line is simply "Under Refurbishment" With no date attached.

It's definiately not open yet as of about 6:30 tonight, walls are still up and here's parts of it laying on the ground.
