No, they definitely have not! There are probably some dates that are sold out, but I just booked a standard room today for someone. There were standard and preferred rooms available for that time.:)

I booked my reservations and my mil's as well Friday night and had no problems getting 2 connecting preferred rooms. And our vacation starts the first day that the free dining deal is available.

Your rooms are not likely guaranteed to be connecting, just requested.

By party mix do you mean who's in what room? If so my mil will be with my 13 yr old and 6 yr old and in the (hopefully) adjoining room it will be myself, husband, 5 yr old and 2 yr old. I know it's just a request but the CM making the reservation said with families like this it shouldn't be a problem getting 2 rooms together.

My cousin's family and my mom had connecting rooms at POFQ in March. They requested them because my cousin's dd was staying in the room with my mom and other cousin. I think Dinsey tries their best to give them when it's a family like yours.
