Has congestion increased at MK?

I'm planning a visit at the end of the month and during my stay, BTMRR, Liberty Belle, Dumbo, and Flying Carpets are all scheduled to be closed. I know it's a bad time to visit but it's the only week out of the year that I can do so. Has anyone noticed significant congestion lately due to attractions being down?

The reason these attractions are getting refurbed is because the parks will be less crowded and require less capacity. I don't think you will notice any differences in terms of crowding.

I always go at this time of year so I know that the crowds are usually light. My concern was that since so many attractions will be closed, the lines for the rest of the attractions might be heavier. BTMRR can be a real people-eater.

BTMRR is my favorite ride, we are going Jan 20-29. Really makes me upset. Taking our 2 year old granddaughter first time and here Dumbo and Alladin are closed..Liberty Belle is closing on Monday so we should get to go on Sat the 21st.. But on top of it all i do hope crowds are light and the weather is good. We want to wear shorts and have not heard if we usually can do so..

Shorts during the day might be possible, but it cools down quickly after the sun goes down, bring long pants as well. I've experienced anywhere from comfortable in shorts and a Polo to needing a warm jacket all day when there in January/February.

Weather Network is currently showing fairly nice temps for your first few days there, but if you look at the next few days now, it'll be pretty chilly at night.

I arrive on the 25th, so I'm starting to watch the long-range forecast...
