Have a great time! Can't wait to hear what you think!
:sohappy: ditto !! :sohappy:

Seriously, my wife and I want to invite some good friends to go to WDW (their first trip) with us in the future, and we believe this would be the most economical for two families.

uh -- two different suites, of course.:o

The suites looked great and I am sure that they are very nice. We had one booked for last Oct but when the Discount codes were released they would not apply them to the suite.(they may in the future??) To get the discount, we changed to two rooms and it saved me almost 700.00 and it worked out great.

We stayed there last January - me, my wife, and our two nieces. The most helpful part was having two bathrooms. The kitchen was reasonable, and the rooms are nicely appointed. The bedroom is separate, and has one bed, so it's perfect for the adults. The other room doubles as a living room, and there's pullout space for three (one couch and one chair). We generally stay at a moderate or deluxe, so the resort itself wasn't as nice as what we've become accustomed to, but it was OK. Usually, when we take the kids we (and they) prefer a Wilderness cabin, but having the second bathroom may change that.

We were thinking about staying at Port Orleans but know I think we are going to stay here. With 3 kids 4 or under I think the extra space will be worth the extra money, and the kitchenette will be awesome as well. We are going to bring cereal and have breakfast in our room. Can't wait!

OK I am back from 2 nights at the All Star Suites and I can honestly say that I was impressed with the value suites. I really like the room layout especially the queen size bed in the bed room as well as a door on said room. When all the beds are folded up you have a fairly nicely sized living room. I have three girls, two of them teenagers, so 2 full bathrooms each with their own hair dryer was a huge plus. The bed configuration (2 singles and a double) allow each of my girls to have their own bed which makes for fewer "She is on my side!" type arguments we have had in the past. The kitchen is of course small but more than adequate for quick meals that require no more than a microwave and a sink to prepare. Disney was also nice enough to equip the kitchen with paper plates, bowls, plastic cutlery, paper towels, and a can opener. The fridge has a bit of a weird shelf layout and it does not look like it would be at all possible to put a gallon of milk in it and even a half gallon would need to go on its side, something I would not do unless the container had a screw top.

So as of now I have tried all 3 of the under $200 options for a family of 5 at WDW. (the others being PORS and 2 rooms at a value) Providing that Disney keeps offering the value suites at an AP rate they will be number one on my list for room choice in the future.
