I have a tripped planned for September, so I was (selfishly) hoping it was not going too well, and I was a little disappointed when I heard that this was offered. Has anyone heard anything?

I booked for July at noon on the day it went public on Disney's Website. I had to move my dates a week to get the resort I wanted. The resort had been available only ten minutes earlier on the Website. The reservationist told me they were swamped with calls and availability was going quickly.

I booked at CBR before it was released to the public, about 10 minutes after it showed up at mousesavers. When I went to book another trip at the contemporary the day it was released to the public, they were full and I had a hard time finding a room at any deluxe resort. Im afraid september is going to be packed unlike last year where it seemed like we had the park to ourselves. :(

I hear you DisneyBound. We had booked for June but the savings were just too good to pass up so we switched to July. I also expect the resorts to be overflowing. Why would anyone stay off site with this kind of offer? We have just been telling ourselves we have 8 days, we got an incrediable deal, and we are going to take our time and enjoy it !!! :)

It's gonna be a SEPTEMBER TO REMEMBER!!!

That package is booking faster than you could imagine...and I suspect the rooms allocated were fewer than hoped!!

For example, I tried to book 3 Resorts for 7 days in September before they could get me in.
Then....dinner reservations were almost impossible!!

I was in a state of dis-belief!! :veryconfu
Never has it sounded so crowded during this "off-season" time! I hope they will at least be prepared to keep the parks open a bit later to accommodate us all!

Hoop-Dee-Doo and Luau were booked solid -- and I'm talking FOUR MONTHS IN ADVANCE!!! I usually just walk right up and buy tickets at that time of year!

Looks like the plan worked......
WE ALL KNEW IT WOULD!!! :animwink:

BOOK EARLY.....DON'T DELAY!!!!!

What exactly is this deal? I have ressies for AKL with a passholder's discount in June. Can I call and get this discount instead?

No Sorry Cora, these discounts kick in in the beginning of July and go thru the end of October. Basically this package offers a buy 4 nights of resort and passes, get three nights free. Awesome deal, IMHO. Check it out on the Disneyworld webiste. Click on the yellow box on your left hand side. It says something about Vacation Savings. Good luck!!! Belle

Yes, it also says it's only valid for "value" resorts, so the AKL would be out anyway. This is a whole package deal, including the passes also, which I have already purchased on a discount. I'm glad that I will be there BEFORE this special kicks in since you all have said how popular it is!

The package is valid at all resorts. The blurb on the website about value resorts is a disclaimer to let you know the "Rates from $499" hook is for a Value Resort. But the package is good elsewhere.

FYI:)

This offer saved my wife and I about $1000!!

Thanks Disney!!

We had booked our October vacation through a travel agency and when we called to ask them about this deal they said that they had already set us up.

Smart move on Disney's part. People will be flooding into Disney World. Getting cheaper resort rates will allow suckers like me to spend more money in the gift shops and buy more $2.50 Cokes and $8.00 hamburgers....lol :sohappy:  :( :lookaroun

Meega, nala kwishta!
This is a good offer, as long as you are staying for around 7 days.

We're saving over $2500 versus non-discounted prices. And it comes to about a $100 less than the codes given out last year, so at least we're doing as good as last years costs. And that's good...

We have friends going down at the same time, same resort, just one day less, thus they are basically paying the same price. They are not saving as much as us, but they just can't stay 7.

Where can I find out more information on this fairytale package? and Are there specific dates you have to choose? Cause me and my 2 brothers are planning on going in November or December.:)

Go to the link listed below and click on the yellow box that says,"Vacation Savings". While you can still save a few dollars more by booking everything individually by yourself, these deals are still pretty good. All the dates I checked are still open. Hope this helped.
