Has Anyone Ever Been Banned From Disney for Posting Videos of Their Experiences on YouTube? Can They?

Florida, from what I can figure out in 4 minutes or less, has a 1 year expiration on Criminal Tresspass. So, after a year, you can go back without any risk, except them CT'ing you again if they catch you.

I tried but they didn’t even read my letter. I never asked to be let back in however. My letter basically gives the complete explanation of what happened. If I had it to do over again I would have never left and let them trespass me and arrest me and then I could haves sued them . They had no legal standing or right to simply trespass me. They would have to have proved I was being a public menace which I was not. It’s been 9 years and I really haven’t missed it. I have missed going with family and friends.

Surprisingly planDisney site has addressed something like this:

I’m sure you’ve had alot of time to reflect since the incident. No judgement here as most of us have had moments we’re not proud. That said, I’d try to look at it from their side and address all the reasons they may have for thinking the ban was appropriate. From their perspective it is easier leaving things as is. Less risky than opening the door again for a guest who may still hold resentment and did not go away quietly the first time. They deal with a mountain of litigation every year and it’s not a far stretch for them to be concerned here. Right now the only card you hold is sueing over the ban. Once allowed back on property, many more opportunities open to even the score litigiously. That might be what you need to overcome - needing to fully regain their trust.

You could try to explain all the ways you feel remorse for your actions. Example: understanding why guests losing their self control is a risk to resort operations, seeing how even joke statements pose a security threat, deep regret that your actions put WDW in a position where it would be negligent not to react and the imposition on resources that caused, etc. My strategy would be writing out why I now understand the ban was not an over-reaction. Finish with how if given the chance you’ll never put the privilege of visiting WDW in jeopardy again by making sure to keep your composure under any circumstance. Even in the event an issue arises you now see the best path is following up through the proper channels in a reasonable manner. I’d go with something along those lines. Good luck.

Stay away from the old River Country location. I've heard of people doing that and then posting it. That's just common sense though. But a normal Disney video on vacation is just what the doctored ordered for them. I would think they'd want a guest highlighting their strengths.

He probably posted it and got hauled off to Disney jail. He’s still there to this day, cursing this community for convincing him it was okay.
