Has anybody had any luck with this???

Our trip is booked and I have been making regular payments on it. Our final payment is due on 11/28. Has anybody had any luck with having that final payment day extended a few days? It would be great if I could push it out to 12/3, which is only 5 days extra. Both me and DH each have a paycheck coming in...me on 11/30 and DH on 12/3. Thanks for the replies.

Thanks, Lucky. That will be a good help...I was hoping to spread the last few payments out a little bit to make room for plane tickets that I need to purchase here in the immediate future.

I was inadvertently late with my final payment - it was due 10/28 and I thought I had made it online on 10/27 but got an email 10/30 that my payment was late (online system never recorded the payment). The "late" email indicated I had 30 days to make payment before they cancelled my reservation. I'm sure if you know you need a few days you can call them and they can extend the date so you don't get a "late" email.

You can always try making a partial payment on the final payment, so they know you're still serious about going. Though if you've been making regular payments for some time, I'd think/guess/hope they won't assume you're backing out of the whole trip just because the final payment is a few days late. Nonetheless, I'd suggest calling and talking to an actual human being who can note somewhere what you intend to do, just so you get no unfortunate surprises.

Please remember that the people on this site have nothing to do with your vacation or your reservation. You need to confirm your payment or nonpayment with WDW directly.

Second that --

Do not take what is posted here as Disney Law....CALL DISNEY RESERVATIONS, explain your situation, and ask them to change the due date. They will happily do that, but don't count on it just happening automatically.

Disney classifies guests as First Visit; Repeat Visit; Frequent Visit etc and different rules apply to different categories.

Just call them.

I absolutely agree. I'm sure Disney will have no problem with a few days, but call them so there is a record of it and of course, get the name of the person you spoke with, the day and time that you had called just for your records. This is always important when dealing with any call center, just as a matter of course. Best of luck and I Am sure it will work out just fine!!! Marie

Thanks to all who have replied...and nobody worry, I was already planning on calling them before I even posted this thread. I was just curious to know if others had done it.
