Wow. Wife and I just watched it. It really really looks impressive. I think the shops, goblin AA's, frozen butterbeer ice cream, puppet show with Death and the three brothers (can't think of the name),and train ride look awesome.

Skeptical: Jazz singer show seemed sooooo random and forced and the reliance on screens on both the train ride and the Gringotts bank coaster looks a bit over done. Obviously I see the need for screens as windows on the train but the 3D glasses on the Gringotts bank seemed overkill. It was this same overdepedency on screens that made me sick when I visited Hogsmeade and rode FJ. But, I will withhold my final judgement until I ride it.

Overall, wonderful attention to detail. I hope Disney responds with an equally as impressive counterstrike: Star wars, Avatar, etc. If Disney and Universal keep pushing the other to do even better, we could have some really exciting parks in Florida.

NBC has on demand if you are a Time Warner subscriber. Not sure if they have specials like this on demand, but the first thing I do when I get home tonight is find out. They had Rosemary's Baby on demand and that was a special (mini series) and also four hours of my life I'll never get back.

No mention of Daniel Radcliffe not appearing.

I got a little sad thinking how it might have been depressing for Rupert Grint to return to his role and work alongside look-alikes as Harry and Hermoine. Yeah he got a paycheck, but he probably wished the original cast was there along with him.
