There was a lot of criticism of it being promoted that way back then.

I liked the singers, but they don't feel like the fit to me. The three brothers puppet show on the other hand looks very cool.

I guess the real question with all of this is--
Did this make you want to visit more? Or, I guess if you knew less about it already would you want to check it out?

It definitely makes me want to visit more. Hubs sat on the sofa next to me and said, I guess we're going to have to go to Universal again (in 2013, we used our DVC to stay at WL, but didn't step foot in a Disney park, it was our first visit to UOR)


The Alley looks great, the Gringotts ride probably is too (notice the lack of spoilers on the show!). The jazz performance was odd, and the Miley commercial (a) disturbing and (b) somehow inappropriate

Didn't see the Miley commercial....the real thing is always not as bad as what you imagine in your head...right?!

Also, for me I was just enjoying it from an engineering perspective but my GF who is not a huge follower of theme parks and is an HP fan was all like "OMJ ITS THE WEASLY GUY!!"

I dunno, but in this instance, it was like, "really, you're going to despoil Harry Potter by interjecting Miley Cyrus??"

Besides, all things considered, shouldn't she really be on ABC?? ;)
