Harry Potter & The Letter Of Intent

I actually have a theory that after he got escorted out of Disneyland for running an unauthorized tour, he is doing stuff like this out of spite. But thats just my opinion and is not based on anything that I can prove. So please take it as such.
Nah... he's more about the money.

Noticed how his site has dozens of advertisements and popups now? Ever since the site format changed, the number of ads has increased. He writing contraversial "blog entries" to get links and visits from as many people as he can. The more people... the more ad impressions... the more money he makes. What gets people looking more than Disney + Harry Potter?

He's just a goof looking to make as much money for himself as he can and is using the Disney fans to do so.

Good point. I forgot to "follow the money trail".

Whoa, easy now....from what I know, this wasn't a lie on Jim's part. I got similar info, and I sure didn't make it up.

Word I got late last week was that "the Potter stuff they've been trying to get seems to have worked out." That's a direct quote from a source at Disney.

Did my source lie? Doubt it. Never has before.

More likely, the source either got bad info, or else there was some kind of order to keep the whole thing quiet which has led to a denial that it happened.

Jim's in the same spot as I see it. His sources, usually far better than mine, passed him some info which may or may not be credible. No need to call him a liar, or else you might as well call me one since I confirmed it.

Nah... wouldn't consider him a liar... but he stretches things just as much as he can to get the most out of his articles.

I do think he's out to make as much money off his "news" as possible, so the more sensational and contraversial, the better. Same as his whole anti-Cars mantra that he spent so much effort on. He finally admitted that it brought in viewers and that was important. Why, cause he got the bucks. :D

I would love a beastly kingdom with Narnia/Harry Potter/LOTR at its core. Do you realize how much money that would bring to the Walt Disney Company???

Heading for the great escape.
I know my eyes are fading but when I checked the working single mothers (for it is she) web site last night there was no mention of this in any shape or form.

I did the same thing....but my eyes are still working pretty well

When I visited some of the fan sites I noticed that sometimes there are a series of things that you have to do in order to be able to get to some of the information.....(open door, light candles, etc) so I thought that maybe I was just to dumb to work the web site.

Personally I would like to see it happen. I know many others have said in the past they would hate it but the books and movies are excellent. I only see it as a good thing if Rowling and Disney get into bed with each other so to speak.

This would be a very interesting thing for Disney to be able to do, but I do not think it will happen. I am a die hard HP fan and I love MuggleNet and The Leaky Cauldron for they are both not only close to JKR but they also give very reliable information, i.e. audition places and times, and live interviews with JKR herself. They have made mistakes in the past, but they are quick to fix them, but I do believe it if they say that there will be no JKR/Disney collaboration  no matter how sad the fact may be.
