Harrison Ford possibly open to playing Han Solo in Episode VII

Does anyone remember a few years ago, they were talking about this new technology that Lucas was experimenting with...basically it was how to take a person in a movie, specifically actors that weren't alive and putting them in new roles in new movies! Creepy right??? Does anyone think maybe this is how they would add characters as voice actors to new stars wars movies if they didn't want to appear again or end up dead?

this is about 4 hours old and i didn't see a thread on this. this certainly put a smile in my face reading this :D just in case anyone here didn't know of it yet.
If Ford is in, and the others, the new trilogy will be a close sequel, and less of a reboot.

If Disney wants to build more SW in its theme parks, then they want to synergise it with the new trilogy. This may prove to be a risk without a connection to the old saga and it's decades of hold over the public imagination. Will 7-8-9 fall flat?
The closer the continuity between the new and older trilogies, the higher the odds of Disney adding SW content to its theme parks, because it can incorporate both the established and the new franchise. The more old SW actors and artists are involved, the closer the continuity.

In effect, Ford signing up for a new trilogy (he'll be 101 when part nine starts shooting) is theme park news because it increases the odds of SW being theme park news.
