Happy Dance ... Have to Share!

Well, I just booked my solo 2008 trip to the World!

I had originally reserved CBR (King) for 8 nights at the old 2007 rates, which was $1890. Then, once the new rates came out, I ended up switching to ASMu (Preferred) for the same dates, and with the AAA/CAA rate, the new balance is $908!

With putting almost a grand back in my pocket, I am sooo doing the happy dance! :D

Anyone who has been to ASMu lately, please let me know your thoughts. This will be my first time!

I'll be there March 29 to April 6, or some period in that 8 nights, once I know what my flights will be. According to the Disney website, March 30 begins the spring Wonderful Weeks of Disney and the F&G Festival in Epcot has been moved up! :sohappy:

We stayed there this past Oct and I loved it because the rooms in the preferred area had just been redone and they were much better than before. I think that you will be happy there and you even have more spending money!!

Have a wonderful trip.:sohappy:

Wow! great news... I'm trying to book mousefest this December, any ideas? It would be a solo trip for me as well. Have you ever gone solo?

Nope ... this will be my first! The past 4-5 years have been pretty rough: separation, divorce, ex-DH's new girlfriend, going back to finish my second B.A. and B.Ed., all the while working and, of course, being "mom"! My DS will be spending his spring break with his dad (for the first time ever), so what better place for me to (pre)celebrate my birthday and graduation?

When I told friends and family, they all looked at me like I was nuts! But, wanting to go somewhere on my own, I explained that I know Disney like I know home, it's relatively safe, and I feel comfortable there. Then, it made some sense.

Still have my trepidations, but the excitement is winning over!

Wow! I have been there, are we the same person? I give you much deserved credit! You are gonna have a blast! The parks are a blast by yourself. I have never gone completely by myself, but many trips with my ex-DH (btw that is not dear husband) I spent time alone. It is was much more fun!!!
