Because his narration accompanied scenes during the ending that were becoming EXTREMELY dated. When AT&T renewed their contract in 1994, they must've stipulated a rehab to keep up with the times, which included the removal of the entire finale including tomorrow's child, a new spiel recorded by jeremy irons, the inclusion of that ANNOYING lady announcer who says "Attention Time Travelers...your vehicle is now rotating backwards for your return trip to earth...Attention Time Travelers...", plus the complete removal of Earth Station and it's transformation into the GREAT post-show we have today...:lookarounkaylasmom said:

And it just so happened Jeremy ( :wave: ) was still contracted to Disney as part of The Lion King.

You know, up until you mentioned about the annoying woman and the "time traveller" thing not being there anymore, I didn't even remember it!!! I guess I either ignore that part now when I go through SSE, or I'm so used to certain parts of the narration not coming through the speakers that I just figured it skipped her saying it. Because as we all know, the audio on certain Disney rides is always so reliable (ahem).
