Well..now that this post has been moved to a much more appropriate section (chit chat...since obviously this thread has no vadility anymore), I can cheerfully and without any regret reply to your last post with...

Huh?

I wasn't trying to be malicious with my first post...i merely pointed out that the thread was in the wrong area.....I was then told "who cares" and that's when I started to get mad, because I tried to help and I felt like you just flipped me off and kept going with what you were doing...

And then I was told to "be more helpful"....I thought I was....

All people really should check and see where they are posting. Some threads are difficult to determine where they go (the Where am I thread in Pictures where as it could be Trivia).

Also the new member threads should go to Chit Chat. Lots seem to go to General Discussion. I understand that. Those people are new and most learn from their mistakes. I recently commented on someone's posting style. I was critizied for it, and settled my issues with that person. His posting style has already improved.

Then there are threads like this one that are so obvious that they do not belong in the forum they were posted in.

Brer Bear, you've started several threads (this one, Sea World & Busch Gardens, Wonder Works, Who has the ?????? that wasn't moved yet probally should have, help me please, amusement park) in the wrong area. I would think that you should know where to post by now, but it seems you don't even try. You've said you learned your lesson before, yet you keep repeating your mistakes.

Your first thread about moving to Orlando was replied to at first because it was in the wrong thread. You got hostile in your responses.

I'm sorry you consider this flaming, but I think it's just pointing out a repeated history.

Fievel's first reply was that of concern for Steve and for the site in general. He just pointed out that this thread wasn't in the right forum.

Steve has descriptions about what each forum should be about. Once that forum is open, there is a reminder to post in the correct one.

Keeping threads where they belong helps keep other misplaced threads from appearing. I've pointed out to people that threads belong in better places and not in the forum posted.

It's not that it was a dumb or bad question.....it was just in the wrong area..i was only trying to help you out.....

But feel free to ask whatever ?'s you want...as long as they are in the right area...plus you'll get a better/faster response.

Please, please! We're not trying to be mean! All we're asking is that you, or anyone, looks through all of the forum categories before posting! If what you want to say/ask doesn't seem to fit in one of those categories (ie. your original post should have been under "all other Orlando Attractions")you can always post it under Chit Chat. If you do post in the wrong area (and we've all done it!) the correct response is to say "Oops! and move (or ask Steve to move) your thread. Then no one gets upset. However, this isn't the first time you've been asked to check before posting, so Fievel wasn't very polite about it...nor was he extremely rude, either.

This is a WDW discussion forum! Although most of us who live here in Florida would be more than happy to answer your questions about the Orlando area, if we can, we're not the Chamber of Commerce! We're here first and foremost to discuss Disney, and other related matters. We do discuss other things, but in the correct areas...at least we try to keep everything on topic.
