We have never gone at this time (end of september begingd Oct) are all the Halloween parades and fireworks only at the MNNSHP? and If so is it worth spending the extra $

In my opinion...it is absolutely worth the extra $$. I think you can only see the halloween parade at MNSSHP...Just something about the extra oomph during the MNSSHP!

The party is after park hours (7pm-12am) so your not with the regular guest. You can dress up and meet characters and the parade is amazing. Their is also a special firework show which in my opinion is amazing. Its worth it and you will have alot of fun! The tickets are, i believe, more this year but i could be wrong. Also its more $ on some days because of capacity and the fact of when they are. Just look up the MNSSHP site and it will show you all that is going on. I am going this year, i have gone for the last four years and i love it.

Not just a parade. The opportunity to dress in costume (and see all the other guests' fun costumes), rare villians are out, TONS of great new decorations and fun area music, trick-or-treat spots, and it's just a REALLY fun atmosphere :) It really is a party! :sohappy:

It's totally worth it and so much fun, I love the firework show, last time I missed the parade but will catch it this time for sure, we are going on two different days this time, the tickets are different prices depending on the day you choose. :sohappy:You will have a ton of fun. You can go trick or treating too in alot of areas around MK, they will have big giat pumpkins lite up so you'll know where the candy is.

Its worth it just for the parade, one of the best WDW parade ever. You get tons of candy for you and the kids and the park is so cool at night its like the Magic kingdom was made for it.Do it once and you will enjoy it.Not worth it every year

Totally worth it. The fun of seeing something new. You've never seen MS USA that way before. Lots of decorations all over the park. No line, well maybe a really short one, on any of the rides. Lots of candy to be had at the trick or treat spots. Awesome fireworks and parade.

You don't have to wear a costume or even have a kid. DW and I did it sans kids back in 2003, but we still dressed up, and we will this year when we bring the kids this time.

FYI, even though its supposed to be from 7 PM to 12 AM, they do let you in after 4PM.

Besides watching my kids have the time of their life... Best part= walk right onto the rides as there are WAY fewer people in the park!! Def. worth the money and I sprang for a family of 5!!

Yes the lines are small a lot like E night used to be.I miss E nights they where so much fun.Just dont miss the parade you will never forget the headless horseman at the start. That big horse running thru the parade route is great. If you want a sneak peek look on you tube I know the parade is on there.

Unlike at Christmas time, where most of the MVMCP events are made available for all guests the week before Christmas, the MNSSHP is for ticket holders only. Non ticket holders will mostly see the fall harvest type decorations, not the special Halloween decorations.

I think it is worth it. More so if you don't use a regular park ticket that day. $55 for 8 hours in the park (you get to go in at 4 and stay til midnight) isn't bad when you consider its $70 plus for 11 hours (assuming 8am EMH til 7pm close for party)

If you`ve never seen it it`s well worth a MNSSHP. I attended my first in 2007 - the parade, stage shows, fireworks and park atmosphere was fantatsic and very different to normal. Main Streets lighting alone was amazing.

So much so we`re attending 2 next month :D

We went twice during our first WDW trip last September and it was totally worth it. The only thing I hated was not under WDW's control, and that was the heat/humidity. Other than that it was fun with people wearing cool costumes and the longest we waited on any ride was 15 minutes for PP.
