im heading to a fancy dress party at my local students uni dressed as the phatom of the opera.

Don't know what I'm gonna be. If I could find the Michael Myers (from the Halloween movies, not Austin Powers) mask thats cheaper than $40 or even cheaper than $30 then find some cheap, worn out work coveralls (from an autoshop or something) I would be all set... But no. No money = no costume and I don't have any second choices... yet.

Manjin, I've got a Michael Myers mask I would be willing to part with for cheap. If you're interested let me know...hell I'd even wash it out, after all your face does get sweaty in those things lol. 
I'm not sure what I'm doing. My friend and I had planned on going to Salem, Mass but all the hotels are booked.
We'll find something to do...
As for a costume....well no costume but I'm pretty good with face make up and effects so I'm sure I'll come up with something nasty.

For Halloween my boyfriend and I are going to the halloween party at the Magic Kingdom, then we are hitting Islands of Adventure for the new Halloween Horror nights. It should be fun ...:sohappy:

Anything is possible with some fake skin and spirit gum. They also make a Freddy make up kit that has the major areas of burned skin made of latex...ya just glue 'em on and paint.
I'd like to know where I can get a sweater like Freddy's...not for halloween but for every day wearing. Anyone know? lol

YES!!! this is just my kind of thread!! i LOVE Halloween!
what do i want to be? well, i want to be a pirate (just cuz i think pirates are cool...i love adventurous type persons like that) but i can't seem to find a cool costume for a good price, so i doubt i'll be anything...
traditions? oh lots!! my family is full of traditions! every year my dad and i carve pumpkins in our garage (while listening to The Beatles). dad's the teen Sunday school class teacher, so we always have the class up for a Halloween party every year. and our most recent tradition (this is our 3rd year of it) we watch lots of AMC's Monsterfest (and i highly enjoy exploring their Monsterfest site every year!)
Horror movies? nothing beats the classic monster movies! they're sometimes boring...but still so great! hmmm, would Signs be considered a horror movie? if so, that's my fave. if not, then i'll have to stay with my classic black and whites...though my favorite horror 'spoof' would have to be Love At First Bite...George Hamilton is the PERFECT Dracula!!

Um...not sure what it's called. I'd check any halloween stores in malls, novelty shops like Spencers ect...I've seen them in the past. I don't know if they're stilla round.

Senior year of high school my friends and I are doing "Alice in Wonderland" I get to be alice and we've got the mad hatter, and the queen of hearts, the caterpillar, a bunch of cards, a white rabbit, tweedle dum and tweedle dee, and the cheshire cat. and we get to parade in front of the elementry school students. I hope they like it. Im so excited (i'm such a kid)
