The event just seems to get better and better. I love MNSSHP.
Halloween here in the UK SUCKS, its just an excuse for Kids to either beg, or vandalize, not saying that doesn't happen in the US, but the general spirit and attitude is a million times better.
My BF has a home in Kissimmee that we stay in whenever we visit, and just driving home and night and seeing all the homes done up for Halloween is one of the best things for us, just seeing everyone enjoy halloween, not moan and sulk about it like they tend to here.
Anyway, I'm even more excited now, I'm dressing up and Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty.
Need to coax my Nana and brothers to dress up too.

only 6 more for us being from the UK not much is celebrated during halloween season so i have always dreamed of being in america to experience it so we are excited even more so after seeing those photos

I decorate my house for Halloween almost as much as I do for Christmas.
On Halloween night my Dad (who lives next door) and I go all out with decorations and spooky music.
I've already posted this on another thread, but I have never been to the MNSSHP before so I am flying down next Thursday to attend the party on Friday (and then coming home on Saturday). Can't wait:sohappy:

I know exactly what you mean! I used to love Halloween when I was little because we always had a big party and everyone dressed up...
Now, we tend to close the curtains, turn the lights off and pretend we're not in because most of the "kids" that come trick or treating near us are at least 15, 16 or 17 and they just don't make any effort at all! Just putting a mask on is not what it is all about! Where's the rest of the costume?!
Plus, like you say, they take it as an excuse to toilet paper or egg and flour houses, cars and people.
Looking forward to Halloween next year though. It will be our first MNSSHP! :sohappy: Over a year to go! So excited though!!

AWESOME!!!!! Love your decorations!! We have the haunted house too and I have a huge inflatible spider and a even bigger spider web along with all kinds of spooky extras!
