Taken from Screamscape.com announcing an announcment if that makes sense:
It’s OFFICIAL... for the first time ever Halloween Horror Nights will dominate BOTH of the Universal Orlando theme parks each night. This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever before and will change the face of HHN forever. This year’s event will include seven all new mazes, bigger and more intense Scare Zones, the return of the Halloween Parade, special themed shows, hundrededs of Scareactors as well as a the Haunted Corn Field being grown right now. They are promoting it as 360 degree fear, because you will be surrounded on all sides by horror for the night. So far they are only hinting at the theme of the mazes: “Vampire experiences”, “encounters with the undead” and “prisons gone wrong”. Of course we will see Bill and Ted once again, though they didn’t say what stadium they will play in, but I’m hoping for a return to the old Wild West stage. More as we find out!!

As good as that news is... I can't help but feel a little skeptical of this idea. Seven houses? They could barely pull off six last year. They are going to need more people working HHN then they do during the regular day. I'm hoping it's good, but I think they maight be moving to two parks a tad prematurely.

You know I would be there if it weren't for the whole being in the Army and stationed in Washington DC thing. Ty's gonna try and do scaracter this year also.

I just think they should have done one more single park year and then done the two parks for HHNXV. There is just going to be so much to do this year, no matter what you do you won't do all of it. I hope it goes well, but I am just really skeptical about the set-up. I need more information though...

That sounds great

In my opinion that sounds GREAT!!! Allthough i'd be just as happy, if they said they were moving it back to the other park. I liked it a lot better when it was in USF. I miss the parade, and the scare zones in the other park. Not to mention, the bill and ted show was a lot better in that park also. I was really excited last year when they said they were going to have a haunted house that was R-rated and you had to be 18 to go in. They said the scarers were going to be able to touch you and you had to wear a harnice because the floor below was going to fall out. That sounded awesome, but they didnt go through with it. The corn field thing sounds awesome, and i think I know where it might be located, right behind the Cat in the Hat ride. I work at IOA, and noticed they cleared the lot back there, and i was wondering why. That might be the reason. Thanks for the news, and if ya find out anymore, let us know.

That cleared is spot is the location of the cornfield. The corn is already planted and they are just waiting for it to grow. The Extreme House concept failed due to cost. They wanted it to only cost thirteen dollars a person, but in order to make money on the idea they would have had to charge the guests an extra 35-40 dollars in order to get into the house. They decided that with a price tag that high it wouldn't be popular and so they did away with the idea. Smart move too. Despite how neat the idea was, it was something that would have either been a major success or a writhing failure. There would have been no middle ground for the attraction. The extreme house is dead.

Now keep in mind, HHN14 is not going to use ALL of both parks. That would be way to complicated, its going to use the two sides of the the parks that butt up against each other....

That has yet to be confirmed. All signs point to this being the case, however it would cause a great deal of confusion and congestion; especially on the IOA side. More information regarding exact details will probably become available by the end of July.

HHN Tour Info

I have a question for those of you who done HHN before -- do they have a VIP tour package available like BGT does for HOS? We've done HOS with a VIP tour for the past 4 years. Its great -- front of the line access to the houses and rides.

Any insight into something similar at HHN would be appreciated! :)

Yep, Universal has it. Front of the line access to the houses, and a backstage peak as well. I'm not sure about rides, but I know they have it for the houses at least.

It's called the R.I.P. package (Really Important People).

I live in the UK and have booked a Holiday in Hard Rock Hotel Universal over the last few days of October.
My travel agent cant get me tickets to H.H.Nights but has included access to the parks as the rest of my package deal.
Is there an online site where I can purchase tickets early or am I safe as I am staying in the Hard Rock Hotel they will sell me tickets when I arrive?

Hope that makes sense?

I see what you are saying, I tried to do the thing at the top, for booking a trip, but it would only let me buy tickets for October 1 and 2. Sorry though

you said there would be 360 degrees of fear does this mean that City Walk will be apart of it?
It will not include city walk! If you got the same experience in city walk then why would you pay to get into the parks.

I saw the 'corn field'. Currently, it is still just a lovely patch of dirt. If they want corn tall enough to build a maze in, they are going to need that stuff sprouting soon, or else that whole thing will be a bust.

Also, CityWalk might have some people in costume, but it won't be anything like the experience inside the park.

Well couldnt they just make an artificial cornfield instead? I dont know, at first I was loving the cornfield thing, but now come to think about it, I doubt it will last. Its not gonna take much for some ppl to start ripping it all down. I think HHN is going to be a big mess this year. They should probably focus on making it scarier instead of bigger. Thats why Busch Gardens has been voted number 1 the last 2 years. I always thought it would be cool if Disney made something like HHN in the studios. So then they would have Not so scary at MK, and something for the older ppl at the Studios. In a lot of ways that probably wouldnt work though. Oh well.
