Halloween Costumes

Hi all... So I finally decided what I was going to be for Halloween: Minnie Mouse. I have the ears, and the costume was on a HUGE sale on Disneyshopping.com! All in all the costume is costing me less the the shipping... I need it here fast so I wasn't going to risk having it not get here in time. If anyone is still looking for a simple disney adult costume they are having a sale! :)

I can't wait now.. it's going to be sooo cute. :)

When mine is done I'll tell you...I'll post pics of it...

Tina and I are making it (I need her sewing ability and she needs my ability to size things correctly  )

I love Halloween :)

This is the first year in a while I won't be down in the World for a MNSSHP :(

Two years ago I went as the Greatest American Hero and last year I went as He-Man.
This year is another "Tribute to the '80's"

I was going to make mine, I really was. I had my heart set on doing a cheerleader costume w/the letters being WDW and with minnie ears... a Minnie Mouse Cheerleader. But I have been working tons, I had a wedding to go to last week and the costume party at work I have to go to is next week. And since it's a Disney Cast event and all the costumes they sell for girls only work if you like really short... I needed an alternative.

That's okay, I love Minnie.... Now I should start early for next year I think, I really want my Belle dress...

Our annual Halloween Bash is 80's themed this year too! I'm still trying to find some leather pants for DH :ROFLOL: I'm currently attempting to make a Stitch costume for my 6 year old and Moe Doodle for the 2 year old. My 2 year old nephew is going to be Roonie Doodle so I'm making his costume too. I'll post pics when I'm done as well.

Hey Brian, if you want to see some really cool costumes that were made and are right up your alley, go to this page:

http://www.artbyabc.com/costumes_v2.html

Scroll down just a little bit. This is the website of a woman that works for LucasArts doing concept art and design models for some of the Star Wars games. She also makes costumes and made some great ones for the LucasArts Halloween party(winning best costume twice).

I was thinking about going as House. I've already got a bit of the stubble (and piercing blue eyes :D), I found a cane (with flames on it, no less), and I might put some spearmint Tic Tacs in a baggie to represent Vicodin.

...Something tells me that last part isn't the best of ideas. :lookaroun

Add to that a gruff exterior, and I'm the master doc himself. :D
