The Halloween World of Color would use Haunted Mansion, Nightmare Before Christmas, Princess and the Frog, The Little Mermaid, Fantasia, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hocus Pocus, etc. I don't what else would be use. Fountains, Water Screens, mist, fire, and projections on California Screamin, and Mickey's Fun Wheel will be use as well. The host of World of Color is still a tough choice.

Sorry for double post, but I forgot to mention that in the Halloween version the iconic scene from The Legend of Sleeping Hollow were the Headless Horseman chasing after Ichabod would be part of it too.

When does this run? I really want to see the 60th version of WoC instead of the Halloween version.

Oh, and speaking of the Headless Horseman....that is another thing WDW offers that DL does not....
The live Headless Horseman who rides his huge steed down the parade route pre-parade.
Always a cool thing to see.

I've done both 'Halloween Parties' on both coasts and while I enjoyed both versions and their various differences I have to say I preferred WDWs version.
The primary reason was the entertainment offerings and various themed treat paths.
I enjoyed Disneylands offerings too, but the parade left a lot to be desired.

I would really love to see videos or photos front and center of the new Halloween Screams projections.

Can't find any so far.

So, we were at the first party on the 25th, which was my birthday as well. I will say this. It was WAY over packed with people and over 90 degrees at 8pm inside the park, making it miserable to wear a costume. We've went to the Halloween parties for the last 5 years straight now, and this was by far the worst. We left the park at 9 because of the crowds and heat. It's sad as this was our last party for the foreseeable future since we're moving to the east coast, but it seems that they continue to bump up the maximum amount of people allowed into the party each year (money money, it's all about the money). It just wasn't fun this year at all. I'm sure the heat was at 50% to blame, but the over crowded park was the other 50%...

Is that maybe because it's the first party? Or have you always done the first one every year?

We usually do the first one, but we've done others later in the season when they've been sold out and not experienced the crowds we had on the 25th.

We had a blast on the 19th! It rained and cancelled the parade (already saw it) and the fireworks were about 15 minutes late. We missed Cadaver Dans :(
