Hall Of Presidents

I am going to the WDW Resort Complex May 8-15th I have heard that the hall of presidents is going to be closed.To all people is this true I hope not cuz I really wanted to see it.Can someone tell me yes/no on this.

I've heard that even the facade is getting revamped a bit, is that true?

The entire facade is completely wrapped in scaffolding and covered with a scrim painted to look like the building. This is what they typically do when they are doing major renovation or repair work on the facade.

Based on what I saw when I was there in January and from some pictures I've seen, that appears to be the case although I've only heard about a refurb on the attraction itself.

Yep, its closed til July. Still, I like to see attractions like this get rather large refurbs. Can't wait to see the final result.

Very cool! Glad to hear this; I thought the building looked a bit shabby last time.

Granted I havent been in that theater in years, but I never liked that show. I really wish that refurb money would have went elsewhere.

I'll be interested to see the rehab and the new President AA. Of course, I'll be on blackout until August, but it's not like I want to deal with the summer heat and crowds anyway. I've waited this long for it to re-open, a month more won't hurt.

I want as many pictures and video as possible when this attraction reopens. I'm also hoping it'll have soft openings before July 1st.
