Hair Dryers in Resorts

I know hair dryers are provided in the Resorts but can anyone tell me if they are any good? I usually bring my own with me and as an ex hairdresser with longish hair like a bit of power but if the ones in the rooms are pretty good then maybe I can leave mine at home and save a bit of room in my luggage, I am staying at POR. Thanks

I have yet to find a hotel hair dryer that is up to the challenge of my longish, thick hair. I always bring my own,or plan to wear my hair pulled back in a barrette - but only the really expensive sturdy ones, as the cheaper barrettes aren't up to the challenge, either. ;)

with you being a hairdresser I would plan to bring your own. The ones in the rooms are the small wall mounted style that would have a hard time drying your hands after you wash them.

I agree..bring your own. I usually don't because of space but once I get there I wish I had. They're not very powerful, and sometimes don't always work on all the settings.

I have thin, medium length hair..the dryer I use at home gets the job done in 5-6 minutes..using the one in Disney took 25 minutes..I'm going again in December and the first item already on my pack list is my hair dryer!!!
