Enjoy your victory.....

When Basketball season gets going, it's going to be some sweet payback.:D

GO STATE!
that's not even a comparison. Blue and maize has bragging rights for a year over scarlet and grey.

You're definitely right...but since Michigan State is having only a so-so football season, I've got to focus on the positive!:)

Nice job Michigan!

But the extra big rivalry game of the weekend was the Clemson-Carolina game. And, yes folks, Clemson whooped those Gamecocks on their home field. 63-17, nice showing for an ESPN2 prime time game!

Sorry to all you Gamecock fans out there (actually I'm not), but chalk another one up for the Tigers beating those !

GO TIGERS!!! GATOR BOWL HERE WE COME!!!

I must say, good game Michigan! I thought OSU was going to come back in the end, it looked that way at least!

Indeed. :(

*plop*

I'm just glad I wasn't one of those with eternal hope that we would win, lol. I only watched the first quarter, and got too upset to stay any longer. See ya next year, then!

I've gotta agree with that one! Can't wait for Big Ten Basketball season. I've got student tickets at Michigan State and I am really looking forward to the Michigan game!

I really wish OSU would have won. I have some VERY obnoxious UofM fans who are already enjoying rubbing in my face the fact that MSU lost to them and now they're starting in on the Rose Bowl issue. The next one who mentions it to me is going to get it.

Should I be looking for you in the IZZONE?:D

I thought I was very diplomatic in my response to MSU LOSING to UM:sohappy: . Well, then consider it mentioned... what do I get???:hammer:

It really is great to live in a State with two schools that are so good in a number of sports (football, basketball, hockey, etc). I just wish winter wasn't so darn cold and MI was a little closer to WDW.

Nope. Not a member of the Izzone. Costs too much and you have to camp out for them. My best friend is the director of the Sparty program and actually gave up front row Izzone tickets. I'm not really sure why she did that though. My seats are in the LAST row in the top of the Breslin, so I highly doubt I'll be spotted. They're GREAT seats despite being so high up. We're on the end of the court opposite where the band sits and can see the entire court. We're right behind the Magic Johnson banner. If I'm lucky enough to get to escort Sparty to a game, then you might see me. In that case, I'd be sitting in the corner section between the band and the Izzone.

I did have tickets for the football spirit section, Corner Blitz. That was a blast! I had front row seats for that. I do believe I was on TV during the game yesterday if you saw it. I was the short one in the front row with the yellow coat and red gloves. See my avitar for what I looked like at the game yesterday.

I'll let you slide. Just this once though! Some of my really close friends from high school go to UofM and one in particular gets so obnoxious about it its not even funny. Then there's my best friend who doesn't go ANYWHERE at the moment who has decided to support him and he's just as bad as the ones who do go there!

I definately agree about the sports thing you brought up. I actually went to elementary and high school with Paul Davis on Michigan State's basketball team. Sat next to him back in 5th grade when he was as tall as me (I'm 5'2" now) and was a football player and when he was nice. Then he hit high school and was totally different. Its a really cool thing to hear your hometown and high school announced on national TV though. I don't think its anything I'll ever get used to hearing. LOL. Plus everyone on campus thought he was a God or something last year, except for those of us who went to Rochester and knew what he was really like and how he played.
