That is not what has been done. Inspections don’t decide what is safe or not - they check against a standard. The existing standard was defined on what was PREVIOUSLY determined to be safe.

The point of all accident investigations includes validating the prior standard against reality.

You don’t conclude an investigation in a day or two… and no one has published any findings… including to the family (at least since at ghe time of the last pc).

Imagine being the family and being stonewalled of any information at this point.
So your saying that the ride should stay closed til the investigation is done and all findings are reported to the family and public.

Yes - that's typically the pattern one would expect with 3rd party investigations and industries expected to have oversight.
What if that's already happened and it just hasn't been released yet. I'm sure Universal wouldn't just open the ride without doing their due diligence.

There is no operating Mack with a vest restraint. @celluloid has said there are a few on site for the plus plus sized seats (Mack plus sized seats do not have a vest) but so far they have not been seen in public.

And just to clarify, I was reporting on what others have said about them being on site.

Many fansites and such have reported this since Late May/June that seats were onsite and would be implemented in the future.

The plus sized adjustments have not even happened yet, were scheduled to before the accident.

The V type Mac over the head restraint vs the intimin one bar version has a section specifically for a soft vest installment option.

Objectively, looking at how safety language changed across many attractions and what attractions they did change at, I am thinking they realized people's own weak limbs/legs could have been the most likely repeatable culprit to blunt force injury leading to death. That is conjecture on my part. But it makes sense. A freak accident that they are going to take no chances on again.

Definitely a bummer and going to change vacation expectations to have people without self-supporting legs or even if they are just needing assistance from a friend to keep stable not any longer ride attractions like Forbidden Journey, Monsters or Hagrid's and others when attractions specifically had loading platforms for such transfers.
