The rumor was ONLY true for Disneyland it seems.

Correct. It's the first attraction of Marvel Universe within DCA. It's a fast turnaround because it's an overlay on an existing ride. It will be fun, but nothing groundbreaking.

I'm actually excited for this. WDW keeps Tower (the better version anyways) and now I get to do a different version at DCA.

Yep that's permanent alright. I have conflicting feelings about this. I'm assuming Epcot plans being much more elaborate and further down the line it won't be announced until D23

Wow. How horrible would that have looked at the end of Sunset Blvd at DHS? Thank God they decided to skip this for WDW. Looks kinda cool as a stand alone attraction, but not as a replacement for ToT.

Love that this is happening to ToT in DCA since they cheaped out when they built it maybe now they can make it something great. This allows ToT in WDW to continue to showcase how awesome the attraction can be and DCA can have it's own drop style ride built with great effort. And now I have another reason to plan a trip to DIsneyland.

After seeing this info for DCA, which to me looks like an utterly ugly mess, Im very concerned about a form of this in Epcot. I realize its going to be a different concept in terms of the actual ride, but I bet the story line isn't too different.

In the video released it seems there aiming to do something similar with the WDW's verison randomnized of the drops.

Right. Randomized drop profiles, with various music soundtracks to each.
