They are probably afraid that if you can get it streaming you won't attend the convention, which I highly doubt would happen. They really should take a cue from Star Wars Celebration and live stream at least some of the panels.

They should do something like they do with Disney's yearly report where the questions and speaking is visable/hearable then they go dark during clips of films

If they do announce it, it will probably just be a small thing they say. It's definitely not the "Big announcement" of the night (at least for marvel fans. Us Disney parks geeks on the other hand ...).
