Guardians Review

I've ridden it 8 times in 6 days now and I really rate this ride.

Have gotten every song other than Tears For Fears...the one i really want out of all 6.

Was speaking to one of the staff controlling the ride and asked if we were able to pick the song...he said it's random and that none of the staff are able to control it - Although he did say Tear For Fears was the rarist of all the songs. So it looks like some are more possible than others.

I've got 2 tries left (maybe more) before i head back home on Saturday.

Might want to save a $ or two for retirement 🤪

OK everyone who has rode GotG Cosmic Rewind. It's been open long enough that there should be some good reviews on this ride. I'm going in November and want to know if I should make plans for it. I'm 66 and some rides are starting to bother me although I still ride Tot and RnRcoaster without a problem.
For me, Cosmic Rewind is a very fun ride! Fun enough where I would switch my park reservation to EPCOT so I could go on it. Everybody’s mileage will vary but I don’t get sick after riding it. I did mess up my neck one time but that was because I decided to attempt to look around while on the ride. My mom is 70 and she hasn’t had any issues riding it. About the only ride she refuses to go on is Mission Space and she does RnRC as many times as possible.

My wife and I rode this yesterday and loved it! We were smiling from start to finish. Very smooth and has you facing front and back, can be a tad disorientating but if you take your time, your still smiling some time later! Great ride and we loved it!!
Only issue is getting on virtual line as no stand by line to join within park and I could not get another booking!

I thought Flight of Passage was Phenominal. This is better?
This is comparing Apples to tomatoes.. I enjoyed guardians maybe more than flight of passage but honestly flight of passage is... Just ok? At it's core, guardians is a very smooth and fun coaster. The more I ride it, it doesn't get better or worse. The more I ride flight of passage, I just dislike it more..

I've taken about 12 people on guardians. Reviews have been mixed. And when I say mixed, I mean nothing in the middle.

It ranges from Terrifying, to Best coaster ever... From puking in the stairs/never again, to let's go again.

It's incredibly hard to tell who will like this ride or not. It seems to be very biased based on who rides it. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground. I love it but it's the only ride I have ever gotten legit dizzy on.

It is the oddest attraction on property when asking who likes or doesn't like it.

Agree
They are such totally different experiences that it’s kinda hard to compare. But let’s just say this. I used to think FOP was the best ride at WDW. Now I’m not so sure.
…rides…but yeah that’s correct

FOP is the best simulator ride ever in my opinion. And I am REALLY not a fan of simulators. At all.

Something about them using older classics for the on-ride soundtrack, and not a form of all-original composition, really just kills the magic to me. Like imagine if Sweet Home Alabama or I love Rock'n'roll played throughout 7DMT.

Haven't experienced it, only seen videos.

Have you seen the movies?

It’s incredible. I can’t even explain just how much fun my family had on this thing. We were hooting and hollering and laughing the whole time. It’s also the music. It’s a HUGE factor. It clearly adds to the fun and since music is such an important element in the films, it makes perfect sense to have similar songs on the ride. One Way or Another was a blast. Got that twice. So was September.
Don’t miss it.

Yes, and my point still stands. I love September but there's nothing about it that screams Disney ride to me.
It's not a Disney ride.. it's a guardians of the Galaxy ride. I think it's just ok, and not even close to the best themed coaster in Orlando, but music plays a big part of the guardians movies. This type of music absolutely belongs on that attraction.

I guess it is but the whole flying theater thing just isn't fun to me. It's barely better than soarin IMO. At least the queue is cool?
I like it a lot more than soarin'. It's more thrilling and sightlines are better.

This is all subjective tho.

I can still hear my son screaming and laughing throughout the ride! Moments like that are what a trip to WDW is all about!
