New Test Track feels a lot like Tron. An actual Tron ride in Epcot would feel redundant.

If you compare the Power Run in Shanghai to Test Track, I really don't think so.

It's indoors and glows neon blue. To most guests, that makes it the same exact thing. It's a matter of perception, not reality.

Wasn't there talk of GOTG in a Universe of Energy reboot? Not sure if this was just bus driver banter or something more real but I remember reading it on the forum somewhere.

For the record I'd be onboard for anything new and refreshing to go on at UoE.

Tower of Terror is a classic. It is a real shame they are re-theming it in California to what is nothing more than a gimmicky movie. Nothing beats the theming of ToT.

In my opinion the TOT in California gave the ride such a bad name. It was so inferior to the one in Orlando that it never fit into the franchise of rides.

Many years ago this is where a Tron coaster was planned to go. Queue through the circlevision theatre a la Rocket Rods.

Perfect! It would give me something to do in place of SM. I can't ride that anymore since it has become so rough it bothers my back OR maybe I am just get too old.

It was inferior, I noticed that when I rode it, but so is Splash Mountain at Disneyland. Heck, so is Pirates at Disney World. Even inferior versions of these rides are better than anything else. Plus it wouldn't have been hard to improve it the ToT. All you would have had to do is make a couple extra drops.
