Don't know why people defend Mission Breakout at this point when Disney has all but announced it as a failure. Anyone with basic theme park knowledge can see that it's not the success they wanted.

Back in the day, there were many days where you would find ToT with that wonderful' 13 Minute' wait sign out front (i.e. pretty much a walk-on). I have not seen that once since MB came in. While max wait times may have died down and are on a level comparable to what you'd see on a busy day at ToT, I don't think the minimum waits are ever coming anywhere close to what was formerly seen there.

And in 13 years, I'm sure there will be plenty of days where we'll see that wonderful 13 minute wait sign on Mission Breakout.

I've seen 15 minute wait times posted online and on the Disneyland app.

Obviously this is just a "forecast" and not 100% accurate, but, well, here you go...

You mean butchering an already popular ride just to tie into the newest movie franchise they're pushing wasn't a well thought out idea?

Those are all opinions, just like those that believe its a success. The point is Disney is all in, that is all that matters. And no amount of B**tching is going to change that.

I know, I said it wasn't likely accurate. It just surprised me to see it so lowly predicted.

When was that prediction created? What data did they use to predict the wait times? Years past didn't have things like major areas closed for refurbs like Paradise Pier. So all those prediction need to be thrown out the window.

Not sure what data they use. Look, I'm not trying to disagree with you that its likely inaccurate. I just found it interesting and posted it.

And I'm not arguing with you. I'm just trying to say that for all those that try to prove its a failure, there are plenty of data points to prove the opposite.

Well sure... at the end of the day, it's still the same ride that was there before it with the same bones and the same rider capacity. MB falls into a weird gray space between marketing and new attraction. Like Hyper Space Mountain on steroids. I would bet $$$ the longterm idea is to always have it feature an exhibit from the Tivan Collection, hence the use of the display room in the front and the use of screens on-ride. That way when Guardians eventually wears out its welcome (which of course it will), they can cycle in some other Marvel property and storyline and pump interest (and wait times) back up.

Although Disney has already stated publicly that DCA saw attendance increases which they attribute to GOTG:MB and that the attraction had (has?) the highest guest satisfaction scores of the entire resort...
