That's fair but don't you think that anything new of this scale would bring in the crowds?

This doesn't take in to account that there's some additional information about a bigger Marvel presence at DCA that hasn't been announced yet. Apparently GoTG is the first of several changes to that section of DCA.

A park cannot solely exist with the focus being on 1 state and be successful. The only "ride/experience" that they've added since about 2007 that fit the theme is the Red Car Trolley. No other rides are actually California by nature.

Remember when the park was nothing but California? Yeah, me too. It sucked.

Well a more appropriate ride for Hollywoodland would be a version of The Great Movie Ride or a ride focusing on Mickey's Shorts like Steamboat Willie

Long ago, didn't they play the shorts in the theater on Main Street? Seems like we used to watch something in there, I don't remember that very clearly.

The movie ride is a natural fit, but then all the arguments about what should be shown... ugh

I took it into account by mentioning Marvel land will be a big draw. I don't think the overlay, on its own, is that big of a draw or has very much staying power.

I walked right past there a few months ago. Didn't even look. But then it was early in the morning and I was like, in a race..

Still, I'm sorry I didn't take the time later.

Most people probably assume it's another shop and don't bother going in there since all of the shops on Main St tend to call themselves something they really aren't. (Emporium Books, etc)

Any film that has been nominated for an academy award, this is where they build a store front to push everything: Poppins, Bedknobs, fairy tale flicks, Pirates, Pixar, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Marvel, Roger Rabbit even.

With Neil Patrick Harris doing the voice over emphasizing the point that TWDC as movie studio will continue to evolve with every decade..

Although that picture is a haunting reminder of what I fear the park would end up becoming if DL didn't evolve and change with the times.

Not really. It's a small room that likely a lot of people don't even realize is there. It's something I wish Disneyland had more of. The park is being landlocked and there are few places to discover or escape to as in the other parks. It's just the crowded walkways. That is a disadvantage of Disneyland. It's nice that this hasn't been shuttered or turned into a store or a ridiculous meet and greet.

Quite possibly the most idiotic thing I have heard today.

And I have already been to 2 murder scenes today.

Right back at you.

You don't understand business.
You don't comprehend the similarity between what the guy wrote and DHS.
And you somehow equate your gross ignorance to your going to murder scenes?

Your signature certainly explains a lot.

Really? What does my signature explain? And what does my screen name tell you?

Oh, and I do see the similarities with DHS and agree with you fort statement. Your second statement of that post is where things go off the rails.

And I didn't equate my ignorance to going to murder scenes. Just pointing out that when hanging with crowds of people who shoot people, they say stupid chit.
