Going the Soarin' showbuilding route. It works well for the Soarin building (I never notice it), but this is a different beast:

A multi-color showbuilding in this pattern is interesting and kinda unique.

Are there instances of other attractions following this pattern?

I believe the back side of Radiator Springs in DCA is painted like this

Edit: but it's painted in lighter shades of brown, not blue/green from what I remember

This is what I meant.

I know there are many other multi-color showbuildings, but showbuildings painted with a gradient to try and explicitly hide the building is somewhat unique. Good to know that Radiator Springs/RSR does it as well.

I meant a showbuilding using a go-away-green to sky blue gradient, like is happening with GotG, to try and hide the building.

That Soarin' building blocks the view of the Soarin' building behind it, so mission accomplished.

Well, Bio usually does aerials and such on Saturdays, so we will probably see more progress tomorrow
