Epcot (Center) is composed of simple shapes with interesting surface treatments. I don't know why this design scheme couldn't be carried over to the giant box as well. Hoping something more is coming.

I think you will get that with the original redone building in the front, surely thats where design will be, but its not needed on the monster box too. Its bad enough its part of the skyline now as it is.

Looks like he is standing on the top of the launch tunnel. You can see the angled piece of steel here.

So we all know Guardians 3 is on hold. The only information I've heard relating to the effect this will have on the ride is that Imagineering would be paying for a shoot with the actors instead of having this done during filming for Guardians 3. The one source for that is Jim Hill. There was even some speculation that Imagineering asked the question if they could use James Gunn to shoot the footage.

I'd love to hear more people talking about this. @marni1971 @roj2323 @Magic Feather @TheVisionarySoul - any information here? I'm still assuming there's no drastic change to the ride's theme.

The actors would need to be paid separately for their work on the attraction even if it were done at the same time as the film. The extra expense would come from nearly everything else.

Considering the silly budget this attraction is expected to have, I'm guessing paying the actors isn't the issue. The issue is that the actors may not want to do it after the termination of James Gunn. Are they already contractually obligated to do it?

Based on? Seriously wondering how you came to your conclusion (and not trying to be argumentative). Because none of us can speak for a majority, in all truthfulness.

I think we tend to believe our own personal feelings represent the majority. But it's usually the opposite.
Based on personal conversations with people I book trips for. Been a TA for 15 years now so I’ve gather lots of data in a sense on who goes to Disney and what they enjoy and what they don’t like. Not the largest sample given the attendance figures but gives me a great idea of why Disney is what it is in its current state.

It’s hard to sell trips when you don’t believe it’s a good value anymore...

The issue is outspoken David Bautista, the rest seem like they would show up. Conveniently Drax was strongly rumoured as not being featured at WDW because of the Universal contract. I don't know if we ever had a solid answer about that.

So maybe it will work out weirdly ok?
