ILL = not good
Your best bet is to walk up to the person (if there is one) at the entrance of the ride and say something like “if you need anyone to test this out, I will take that risk for you… you don’t even have to pay me!”Damn so close! What's the odds a lay-person like me could catch a soft opening roughly a week before? We leave on the 23rd May. Is there usually soft openings before known opening dates where random park goers can jump on?
I was checking the AP park reservation availability for Epcot in May and noticed that there aren’t any available for May 16, 18 and 20. Could these dates be set aside for AP previews?Disney Annual Passholder Park Pass reservations at capacity for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind's May 27 opening

Not surprisingly, the May 27 debut of 'Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind' is proving to be in high demand for park reservations.www.wdwmagic.com
It's possible, but I think they are going to need much more than 3 days. I would think at minimum a week of AP previews.I was checking the AP park reservation availability for Epcot in May and noticed that there aren’t any available for May 16, 18 and 20. That’s what I thought. It just seemed weird that there would be no AP reservations available for Epcot those days.It's possible, but I think they are going to need much more than 3 days. I would think at minimum a week of AP previews.
No. They're two different species.Is the actress in the Cosmic Rewind video the same one from the Starcruiser travel company email? They look similar to me but I could be drastically mistaken.
I enjoy Ratatouille, but think the attraction could largely function without being a trackless ride.Alex, I'll take wire-guided ride vehicles for $300.
I‘m not sure how GOTG AP previews will go, but I know that for Remy, you didn’t need to book a park reservation for your preview day. Disney automatically made one for you.I was checking the AP park reservation availability for Epcot in May and noticed that there aren’t any available for May 16, 18 and 20. Pretty much zero based on recent openings. They seem to have replaced soft openings for the public with early previews for AP’s, DVC members, etc.What do we think the chances of normal guest previews for GotG will be? I leave 4 days before it opens so was really hoping to catch some kind of soft
Based on recent openings it seems unlikely. Disney now uses previews as extra offerings for member groups- Club 33, DVC, D23, AP, media, and cast.What do we think the chances of normal guest previews for GotG will be? I leave 4 days before it opens so was really hoping to catch some kind of soft

Or AP holders assumed those might be preview days and assume they'll need to get their own park reservationsI was checking the AP park reservation availability for Epcot in May and noticed that there aren’t any available for May 16, 18 and 20. Could these dates be set aside for AP previews?
I think Martin? Not sure if he confirmed?Has there been any other source claiming no animatronics besides you-know-where? Or must we wait for the previews for confirmation?
This didn’t seem a good signHas there been any other source claiming no animatronics besides you-know-where? Or must we wait for the previews for confirmation?
Are you kidding? If there was a Groot statue that just blinked his eyes, Zach would going live 24/7 to document this amazing moment in Epcot history and explain the dozens of trips the Imagineers took to Marvel to fully understand the backstory of the character and the tree's range of eye motion.Has there been any other source claiming no animatronics besides you-know-where? Damn I was hoping the ride would pack a little bit of a punch. At least to Everest level
The new, preferred term is "animastatues."And just like Everest...no animatronics!
I think they preferred to be call by "Statuetronics" where despite of been extremely expensive and complex machines there is no audio and no animation is involved.The new, preferred term is "animastatues."
Think Steve Jobsniack in SSE. Well at least the computer screen is animated.I think they preferred to be call by "Statuetronics" where despite of been extremely expensive and complex machines there is no audio and no animation is involved.
